This week I got the good news from one of my previous companions, Elder Nunez. He told me Mithzi and Reynaldo got married and Reynaldo was going to be baptize this next weekend!! I was super excited to hear that as in my last area I had been working a lot with the family and had grow close to them. When I left Guabira I commisioned Elder Nunez to help them reach their goal to be married and baptized. It made me happy to see he had followed through and even happier to see them making promises that would bless their family. Though I could attend I was happy to at last watch the wedding viturally and congragulate them. It's hard to describe the happiness I've felt watching this family come to Christ and learn to live His commandments. They inspire me seek more of the Lord's elect.
Also we had a really fun appointment this last sunday. We have been visiting a less activity family, la familia Saraias, in ward regularly and helping them come back to church. This last sunday a member, Hermano Pablo, called us up and told us he wanted to go out and work with us that evening. He's a member who recently moved in to the ward from La Paz and he served his mission in Santa Cruz over 10 years ago. He super enthusiastic about missionary work so we went out with him on sunday to see if he could help our less active friends. When we introduced his to the family he lit up with excitement and so did every member of the family. Turns out he had baptized their family as a missionary 10 years ago! They were all overjoyed to be reunited and it was an amazing this to see. As he set goals with them to help them make it to the temple, I said a prayer of thanks to the Lord's knowing His hand was in the details of this work.
We also met our new mission President this last week at our Zone conference. He's a great guys and I loom forward to working with him more.
That's really all for these last weeks. Hope everyone has had a great week.
